Dancing Feet Ceilidh Band - an exciting and innovative Scottish band who perform at weddings, festivals and functions across Scotland. This is not your conventional ceilidh band - with flute, fiddle, bagpipes and saxophone, backed on guitar and bodhran.
The sound of Dancing Feet Ceilidh Band is influenced by the eclectic tastes and experiences of its band members, ranging from Eastern European music to Scandinavian, with a strong Irish element in there too. The band grew out of Ylem, a trio who were touring the clubs and festivals of the north of England, before realising that the true roots of the music they loved to play was in the dancing.
Dancing Feet Ceilidh Band formed in 2007, and have been gigging regularly together ever since. Relocating to Perth in July 2011, with their infectious style and energetic performances, the band are continuing to get people up dancing at every performance. They have also toured abroad, calling ceilidhs in Spanish and French, as well as English!
