Since 2005, these two very talented young musicians have been students on the Scottish Music course at the RSAMD in Glasgow where their partnership developed and flourished although both girls have been performing solo for many years. Jeana and Siobhan have discovered an empathic approach to composing, arranging and performing music together. Their repertoire includes instrumentals and songs, however, with lovely natural voices which blend beautifully, they focus on communicating through song, whether traditional, contemporary or self-penned. 23rd - 25th Jul 2010 - The Rolling Hills Festival, Melrose. Over the weekend of July 23, 24 and 25th The Rolling Hills Folk Club brings you a weekend of folk song, music and dance, as well as a beer festival and craft fair in the Scottish Borders town of Melrose.
Friday night at the Wynd Theatre features Bob Knight, Suzie Kelly hosted by Ian Abernethy, while over in the Corn Exchange there will be a ceilidh with Brechin, Wilkinson and Martin.
Saturday morning in the Corn Exchange there will be a craft fair from 10:00 am to 2:00pm bringing you the amazing crafts from the immediate area of Melrose.
Saturday night is the main concert in the Corn Exchange with Ian Davison and Carissa Bovill, Sylvia Barnes and Sandy Stanage and Archie Fisher.
On Sunday there will be a concert from 2:00pm to 5:30pm with mainly local performers including Riddell Fiddles.
