Fèis Gleann Albainn is a gem of a weekend held in the Caledonian Hotel, Fort Augustus and has become popular with tutors and participants alike. It is a weekend of tuition(in the school), sessions(in pubs/hotel) and concert(in school hall) with some of Scotland's finest Traditional musicians. Fèis (plural fèisean) is the Gaelic word for a festival or feast.
Now synonomous with the fèis movement Fèisean nan Gàidheal which promotes Gaelic arts tuition festivals, mainly for young people, taking place throughout Scotland. This is a small adult Fèis and it is kept small deliberately to maintain that intimate atmosphere that ensures friendliness, good tuition and fun.
